Newww project!
So I’ve had this crazy idea in my head.
It’s taken be a while to actually get this all going, but i’ve been thinking about it and designing it for awhile now. And a few times this year my own website has been pushed to the way side as I design other companies website and work on a few other projects. But we are back on track!!!
Welcome to my stab at blogging. This could be my first post of many or it could be my first 'n only post - as in my one and done.. I am not sure that I can commit myself to writing regularly and consistently. If you are reading this your probably know me and know that I am always busy. You see besides working in Real Estate Development and Commercial Leasing, my family also owns a horse farm, and I dabble in web design and social management on the side…so where am I going to find time to blog too? That’s a good question - but I’d like to think that i can find the time to do some writing. Friday blog posts! Will anyone read this? Will it matter? Even if no one reads this and nothing becomes of my blog - it’s my space - it’s a creative outlet for me.
I want to start writing and blogging more because one of my biggest goals of this year (2020) is to start writing a book. I’ve had this book in my head for awhile now, my dream is to co-write this book with my Mom, a black beauty type of story about life of our horse Sprinkles. I have bits and pieces written, she has bits and pieces written - I have my timeline and structure written but haven’t taken the time to put it all together so that is my goal of the year. Has anyone ever written a book? This is a true story and I want to leave it raw and real - but I also want to share with the world his fate, his story and his transformation.
My goals for this blog isn’t to become an equine blog, or a fashion blog, or a food blog…my goal is for this blog is to share my thoughts and ideas - like an open diary…that’s scary to me a bit. But I am here and I am writing. Dreaming that this blog will help me to improve my writing skills and make our Sprinkles book that much stronger.
